Passport validity is strictly enforced
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the day you enter Cyprus. Airlines check this before you board. If your passport expires sooner, renew it before your trip.
Cyprus is not in the Schengen Area
Even though Cyprus uses the same 90/180-day rule, it's not part of the Schengen zone. Your 90 days in Cyprus are separate from any time spent in Schengen countries.

Arrive at passport control
At Larnaca or Paphos airports, join the 'All Passports' queue. Have your passport, boarding pass, and return ticket ready. The officer will ask your purpose and length of stay.

Present documents
Hand over your passport. If asked, show your return ticket and accommodation booking. The officer will stamp your passport with the entry date and allowed stay.

Collect luggage and exit
After the stamp, proceed to baggage claim, then customs. There's no separate visa or registration step for Canadians.
