Singapore entry requirements for Canada passport holders
Canadian passport holders can enter Singapore without a visa for tourism or business visits up to 30 days. As of 2026, you simply arrive at Changi Airport and get your entry stamp at immigration. Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months from your date of entry.
Entry requirements
| Requirement | Details | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Valid passport Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your departure date from Singapore | Your passport needs at least 6 months of validity remaining from the date you leave Singapore. Airlines check this at check-in — if your passport expires sooner, you will be denied boarding. | Required |
| Return or onward ticket Proof of departure from Singapore | Immigration officers routinely ask for a confirmed onward or return ticket. Have a printed or digital copy of your flight booking ready — they check this at the counter before stamping you in. | Recommended |
| Proof of accommodation Hotel booking or invitation letter | Officers may ask where you are staying. Have a hotel confirmation or a letter from your host with their address and contact number. A printed copy avoids fumbling with your phone. | Recommended |
| Proof of funds Sufficient cash or bank statement | Carry at least 1,000 SGD in cash, traveler's cheques, or a credit card with available limit. Immigration rarely asks, but if they do, you need to show you can support yourself for 30 days. | Recommended |
