Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
Valid passport
Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your departure date from Armenia
Your passport needs at least 6 months of validity remaining from the day you leave Armenia. Airlines check this at check-in — if your passport expires sooner, you will be denied boarding. Immigration officers at Yerevan's Zvartnots Airport also enforce this strictly.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of departure from Armenia within 180 days
Immigration officers at Yerevan Airport routinely ask for a return or onward ticket showing you leave within the 180-day visa-free period. Have a printed or digital copy ready — they may scan the barcode. A bus or train ticket to Georgia works if it shows a confirmed departure date.Recommended
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or host invitation letter
Officers sometimes ask where you are staying, especially if you arrive without a return ticket. A hotel confirmation email or an invitation letter from a host with their address and phone number is enough. Airbnb bookings are accepted.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show you can support yourself during your stay
Border officers may ask for cash, bank statements, or credit cards showing you have enough for your trip. Around 50,000 AMD (~$130 USD) per day is a safe benchmark. A credit card with a reasonable limit usually satisfies them.Recommended
Visa-free for 180 days
Singapore passport holders can stay in Armenia for up to 180 days per calendar year without a visa. No application, no fee — just show your passport.
Passport validity is strictly enforced
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date you enter Armenia. If it's close to expiring, renew it before you go. You will be denied entry otherwise.

What happens at the border

1
Arrive at Yerevan Zvartnots Airport
Most flights from Singapore connect through Doha, Dubai, or Istanbul. At Zvartnots, follow signs to 'Passport Control' for non-EU/non-CIS travellers.
2
Queue at immigration
Join the line for foreign passports. Have your passport and any supporting documents (return ticket, accommodation) ready. The officer will stamp your passport — no visa needed.
3
Collect luggage and exit
After the stamp, proceed to baggage claim, then customs. There's no arrival form to fill out. You're free to enter Armenia.
