Tanzania entry requirements for Singapore passport holders
Singapore passport holders can enter Tanzania without a visa for tourism or business visits of up to 90 days. This visa-free arrangement has been in place since 2024 and applies to all entry points, including Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam and Kilimanjaro International Airport.
Entry requirements
| Requirement | Details | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Valid passport Must cover your entire stay in Tanzania | Your passport must be valid for at least the duration of your stay in Tanzania. Airlines at Changi may ask to see your passport validity before boarding — carry a printed copy of your itinerary just in case. | Required |
| Return or onward ticket Proof of departure from Tanzania | Immigration officers at Julius Nyerere International Airport routinely ask for a confirmed onward or return ticket. Have a printed or digital copy ready — they may check it before stamping you in. | Recommended |
| Proof of accommodation Hotel booking or host invitation | Carry a printed hotel confirmation or a letter of invitation from your host. Officers rarely ask for it, but having it avoids delays if they do. | Recommended |
| Proof of funds Show you can support yourself during your stay | Have access to at least $200 USD per day of your stay — a bank statement or credit card works. Officers rarely check this for Singapore passport holders, but it's safer to have a recent statement on your phone. | Recommended |
