What happens at the border

1
Arrive at a qualifying airport
Visa on arrival is available at all international airports in Saudi Arabia. Major ones include Jeddah (JED), Riyadh (RUH), Dammam (DMM), and Medina (MED). Look for signs for 'Visa on Arrival' in English and Arabic as you exit the arrivals hall.
2
Go to the visa-on-arrival counter
There are dedicated kiosks or counters before immigration. You will see signs for 'Tourist Visa on Arrival'. Approach a machine or counter attendant. Have your passport ready.
3
Fill out the required information
At the kiosk machine, scan your passport, enter personal details, and provide your accommodation information. Most machines have a touchscreen interface and some have attendants to help. You may also need to enter your email address.
4
Pay the visa fee
Insert your credit or debit card to pay 300 SAR. The machine will print a receipt. Keep it – you might need it later. Confirm that your card supports international transactions and has a chip.
5
Receive your visa and proceed to passport control
After payment, the visa sticker is printed and attached to your passport. Then proceed to the immigration officer who will stamp your passport. You can now enter Saudi Arabia.
