What happens at the border

1
Apply for the e-visa online
Go to https://evisa.gov.lr/, fill in your passport details, travel dates, and upload a scanned copy of your passport bio page. Pay the fee online and submit. Approval typically takes 3–5 business days, so apply at least a week before your flight.
2
Print your e-visa and pack documents
Once approved, print the e-visa confirmation. Keep it with your passport, along with your yellow fever certificate and return ticket. You'll need all three at check-in and at immigration.
3
Arrive at Roberts International Airport (Monrovia)
After landing, head to the immigration hall. Present your passport, printed e-visa, and yellow fever certificate to the officer. They'll stamp your passport — usually takes 5–10 minutes if the queue is short. Then collect your bags and go through customs.
