Every entry on EntryBrief is based on official government sources. Here's exactly where we get our data and how we keep it current.

Primary sources

Embassy and consulate websitesThe most authoritative source for visa requirements per nationality.
National immigration authority portalsFor eVisa systems, arrival cards, and border crossing rules.
Foreign ministry travel advisoriesUS State Department, UK FCDO, German Auswärtiges Amt, Australian DFAT.
Official eVisa portalsOfficial country eVisa systems for direct application links.
WHO and CDCFor vaccination requirements and health advisories.
IATA Travel CentreCross-reference for airline-enforced document rules.

Update schedule

WeeklyHigh-traffic routes (US, UK, Germany, Australia passports to top 50 destinations).
MonthlyAll other routes are reviewed against primary sources.
24 hoursUrgent changes (a new eVisa system or a visa waiver announced) are updated within 24 hours of confirmation.

Each page shows a confidence indicator based on how recently the data was verified against primary sources and how stable the requirements have historically been.
