Passport validity is strictly enforced
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date you enter Mongolia. Airlines check this before boarding — if your passport expires sooner, you'll be denied boarding even if you have a visa.

UAE passport holders do not pay any fee to enter Mongolia visa-free. The entry stamp is free. If anyone asks for a fee at immigration, it's a scam.

Prepare documents before departure

Arrive at Mongolian airport or land border
At Ulaanbaatar's Chinggis Khaan International Airport (or at a land border crossing like Altanbulag or Zamiin-Uud), proceed to the immigration queue for foreign passports.

Present documents to immigration officer
Hand over your passport and any requested documents (return ticket, accommodation proof). The officer will check your passport validity and stamp you in. No visa fee is charged.

Collect your luggage and exit
After immigration, collect your checked luggage from the carousel and proceed through customs. You're now free to stay up to 30 days.
