Valid passport
Must be valid for entire stay
Your Bangladesh passport must be valid for the full duration of your stay in Suriname. No minimum validity beyond departure is required by Suriname law, but airlines may enforce 6 months — check with your carrier.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of departure
Immigration at Johan Adolf Pengel International Airport asks for a return or onward ticket before granting entry. Have a printed or digital copy ready — they check this at the counter.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or invitation letter
Carry a hotel reservation or a letter of invitation from your host in Suriname. Immigration officers occasionally ask for it, especially if you arrive without a clear itinerary.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show sufficient cash or card
Have at least $500 USD in cash or a credit card statement showing available funds. Officers may ask how you plan to cover your stay — a bank statement or ATM card works fine.Recommended
eVisa required before travel
You cannot get a visa on arrival in Suriname. Apply for the eVisa online at least 1 week before your trip. Without it, you won't be allowed to board your flight.
Passport validity counts from entry date
Your passport must be valid for 6 months from the day you land in Suriname, not from your departure date. If it expires sooner, renew it before applying for the eVisa.
