Uganda entry requirements for Bangladesh passport holders
If you're a Bangladeshi passport holder heading to Uganda in 2026, you'll need an eVisa. Apply online before you travel — approval usually takes a few business days. Give yourself enough time to avoid rushing at the last minute.
Entry requirements
| Requirement | Details | Status |
|---|---|---|
| eVisa application Apply before travel | Apply for your Uganda eVisa at the official portal at least 2 weeks before departure. The eVisa costs $50 USD for a single-entry tourist visa and takes 3–5 business days to process. Print the approval letter and carry it with your passport — immigration at Entebbe will ask to see it.Apply for eVisa | Required |
| Valid passport Must have 6 months validity | Your Bangladesh passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended departure date from Uganda. Airlines check this at check-in — if your passport expires sooner, you will be denied boarding. | Required |
| Return or onward ticket Required for entry | Immigration officers at Entebbe International Airport routinely ask for proof of a return or onward ticket. Have a printed copy or a screenshot of your booking ready — they may deny entry if you cannot show one. | Required |
| Proof of accommodation Hotel booking or invitation letter | Carry a printed hotel reservation or an invitation letter from your host in Uganda. Immigration may ask where you are staying, and having proof speeds up the process. | Recommended |
| Proof of funds Show you can support yourself | Have bank statements or a credit card ready showing you have at least $300 USD available for your stay. Officers rarely ask, but if they do, you need to show you are not a financial burden. | Recommended |
