Arrival at immigration
At Montevideo's Carrasco International Airport (MVD) or any land border crossing, join the 'Foreign Passports' queue. Have your passport and return ticket ready. The officer will stamp your passport with a 90-day entry. The process usually takes 2-5 minutes.

Hand over your passport. If asked, show your return ticket (printed or on phone) and first night accommodation. Answer questions about your stay (purpose, length, where you're staying).
