What happens at the border

1
Prepare documents before departure
Print or save on your phone: passport info page, return ticket, first night hotel booking, and travel insurance certificate. Keep them in a separate folder from your passport.
2
Arrive at Luanda Airport (or land border)
At Quatro de Fevereiro Airport (LAD), follow signs to 'Foreign Passports'. Join the queue for visa-free arrivals. Have your passport and return ticket ready. The officer will stamp you in — no fee, no form.
3
Receive entry stamp and check validity
The officer will write or stamp the date you must leave (30 days from entry). Double-check it before walking away. If it's wrong, ask for correction immediately.
4
Exit procedure
When leaving, go through the same immigration hall. No exit fee. Just hand over your passport with the entry stamp. Keep your boarding pass handy.
