What happens at the border

1
Apply for eVisa online
Go to evisa.mn, fill in your details, upload a passport photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the visa fee (around $50–$80 depending on processing speed). Processing usually takes 3–5 business days.
2
Wait for approval
You'll get an email when your visa is approved. Download the PDF and save it on your phone. Print a copy too — some airlines ask to see it at check-in.
3
Arrive at Ulaanbaatar airport
At Chinggis Khaan International Airport (UBN), go to the immigration counter. Hand over your passport, printed eVisa, and return ticket. They may ask for your accommodation address — have it ready. The process takes about 5–10 minutes.
