What happens at the border

1
Apply for your eVisa online
Go to the official Trinidad and Tobago visa portal at https://foreign.gov.tt/services/visas/. Fill out the application form, upload required documents (passport scan, photo, travel itinerary), and pay the fee. Processing typically takes 3–5 business days, so apply at least a week before your trip.
2
Receive your eVisa approval
Once approved, you'll receive an eVisa document via email. Print a copy and also save it on your phone. You'll need to show this at check-in and at immigration.
3
Arrive at Piarco International Airport (POS)
Most flights from Bahrain arrive via a connection (e.g., in Europe or the US). At Piarco, follow signs to 'Immigration' for non-citizens. Have your passport, eVisa, and return ticket ready. The officer will check your documents, take fingerprints, and stamp your passport. This usually takes 10–15 minutes.
4
Collect your luggage and exit
After clearing immigration, proceed to baggage claim, then through customs. If you have nothing to declare, use the green channel. Welcome to Trinidad and Tobago!
