Bahraini passport holders can enter Kosovo without a visa for stays up to 90 days. This has been the case since 2024 and remains in effect for 2026. Just make sure your passport is valid for at least six months from your date of arrival.

Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
Valid passport
Must be valid for the duration of your stay
Your passport needs to be valid for the entire time you plan to stay in Kosovo. No minimum validity period beyond your departure date is required by law, but airlines may enforce their own rules.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of departure from Kosovo
Immigration officers at Pristina International Airport routinely ask for a return or onward ticket. Have a printed or digital copy ready showing your departure within 90 days.Recommended
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or host invitation
Border officers may ask where you're staying. A hotel confirmation or a letter from your host with their address and phone number covers this.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show you can support yourself
Officers can request evidence of sufficient funds for your stay. A bank statement or credit card showing access to around €50–€100 per day usually satisfies them.Recommended
Passport validity counts from arrival
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the day you land in Kosovo, not from the day you leave. Double-check before you fly.
No extensions — plan your exit
The 90-day visa-free period cannot be extended. Overstaying even by a day can lead to fines and future entry bans. Set a reminder to leave on time.

What happens at the border

1
Arrive at Pristina International Airport
After landing, follow signs to 'Passport Control'. There are separate queues for EU/EEA and 'All Other Passports'. Join the latter.
2
Present your passport and documents
Hand over your passport. The officer may ask your purpose of visit, how long you're staying, and where you're staying. Have your return ticket and accommodation details ready if asked.
3
Receive entry stamp
The officer will stamp your passport with the date of entry. This stamp marks the start of your 90-day visa-free period. Keep the stamp visible — you'll need it when you leave.
4
Collect luggage and exit
After passport control, proceed to baggage claim, then customs. There are no currency declaration requirements for amounts under €10,000.
