What happens at the border

1
Prepare your documents before travel
Check your passport validity (6+ months from entry date). Book your return/onward ticket and first night accommodation. Save screenshots of both on your phone. Arrange travel insurance and a local eSIM if needed.
2
Arrive at a Norwegian airport or border
You'll enter through Oslo Gardermoen, Bergen, or another Schengen entry point. Join the queue for non-EU/EEA passports. Have your passport and supporting documents ready.
3
Present your passport to the border officer
Hand over your passport. The officer may ask: purpose of visit, length of stay, where you're staying, and proof of onward travel. Answer clearly and briefly. They'll stamp your passport with the entry date.
4
Collect your luggage and proceed
After the passport check, collect your bags from the carousel and walk through customs. There are no additional visa-related steps.
