What happens at the border

Arrive at Fuaʻamotu International Airport
After landing, follow signs to the immigration hall. There's a dedicated queue for visa-on-arrival applicants. Have your passport, return ticket (screenshot is fine), and accommodation confirmation ready.

Fill out the arrival card
You'll receive a Tonga arrival card on the plane or at the immigration counter. Fill it out in black or blue ink. Keep it with your passport.

Present documents at the visa-on-arrival counter
Hand over your passport, completed arrival card, and return ticket. The officer will process your visa — takes about 5–10 minutes. No fee is charged for Brunei passport holders.

Receive your visa sticker and proceed to baggage claim
The officer will stamp a visa sticker into your passport. Check that the validity dates are correct. Then collect your luggage and proceed through customs.
