Apply for the e-visa online
Go to the official Afghan e-visa portal and fill out the application form. Upload your passport photo and scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee (around $100 USD, but check the current rate) and submit. Processing typically takes 3–5 business days, but can be longer, so apply at least 2 weeks before your trip.

Receive and print your e-visa
Once approved, you'll get an email with your e-visa PDF. Print a copy and also save it on your phone. You'll need to show it at check-in and at immigration in Kabul.

Arrive at Kabul International Airport
After landing, follow the signs to 'Visa on Arrival' or 'Immigration'. Present your passport and printed e-visa. The officer will check your details and stamp your passport. Keep the e-visa with you during your stay — you'll need it when you leave.
