What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the official Cameroon eVisa portal (evisacameroon.com). Fill in your personal and travel details, upload a passport photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee online. Processing usually takes 3–5 business days, but can be longer — apply at least 2 weeks before your trip.
2
Receive and save your eVisa
You'll get an email with your eVisa approval. Print a paper copy and also save a PDF on your phone. Some airlines check this before you board.
3
Arrive at Yaoundé or Douala airport
At immigration, present your passport, the printed eVisa, and your return ticket. The officer will stamp you in. Keep your boarding pass handy — they sometimes ask for it.
4
Collect luggage and exit
After immigration, pick up your bags from the carousel. There's a customs check on the way out — declare anything valuable. Then you're free to go.
