Brazil entry requirements for Canada passport holders
As of 10 April 2025, Canadian citizens need an approved eVisa to enter Brazil for tourism, business, or even airport transit — the old visa-free arrangement no longer applies. Apply online before you travel (US$80.90, usually approved within a few days); once issued it's a multiple-entry visa valid for 5 years, with stays capped at 90 days per visit and 180 days per year. Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your departure date from Brazil.
