No visa on arrival
Ivory Coast passport holders cannot get a visa on arrival in Kazakhstan. You must have an approved eVisa before you board your flight.
eVisa is single-entry
The eVisa is valid for a single entry. If you leave Kazakhstan, you'll need to apply for a new eVisa to re-enter.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the official Kazakhstan eVisa portal (evisa.e-gov.kz). Fill in your personal details, upload a passport-style photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee online (around $20–$30 USD). Processing usually takes 3–5 business days. You'll receive the approved eVisa by email.
2
Prepare your documents for travel
Print a copy of the eVisa approval email. Save a digital copy on your phone. Also print or save your return ticket, hotel booking confirmation, and travel insurance certificate. Keep them in your carry-on.
3
Arrive at the airport in Kazakhstan
At the airport (most likely Nursultan Nazarbayev International in Astana or Almaty International), proceed to the 'Foreign Passports' queue. Hand over your passport, eVisa printout, and return ticket. The officer will check your documents, take a photo, and stamp your passport. No visa on arrival is available.
4
Collect your luggage and exit
After passport control, collect your checked bags from the carousel. You may be asked to fill out a customs declaration if carrying large amounts of cash or restricted items. Then proceed through the green 'Nothing to Declare' channel if you have nothing to declare.
