What happens at the border

1
Apply for the e-visa online
Go to the official Côte d'Ivoire e-visa website (snedai.com). Fill in your details, upload a passport photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee (around 50,000 XOF, roughly €75). Processing takes 3–7 business days.
2
Receive and print your visa approval
Once approved, you'll get an email with a PDF. Print it and also save a copy on your phone. You'll need to show it at check-in and upon arrival.
3
Arrive at Félix-Houphouët-Boigny International Airport (ABJ)
After landing, follow signs to 'Immigration'. Join the queue for 'E-Visa' — there's a dedicated lane for e-visa holders. Present your passport, printed visa approval, and return ticket. The officer will stamp you in.
4
Collect your luggage and exit
After immigration, proceed to baggage claim, then customs. Usually straightforward — just walk through the green channel unless you have something to declare.
