Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
eVisa application
Pakistan eVisa
Apply online at visa.nadra.gov.pk before you fly. Processing takes 3–5 working days for most nationalities. Print the approval letter and carry it with your passport — immigration at Islamabad and Karachi will ask to see it.Apply for eVisaRequired
Valid passport
Colombian passport
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your date of entry into Pakistan. Airlines check this at check-in — if your passport expires sooner, you will be denied boarding.Required
Return or onward ticket
Outbound travel proof
Immigration officers at Pakistani airports routinely ask for a confirmed onward or return ticket. Have a printed copy or a screenshot ready on your phone — they will check it before stamping you in.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or invitation letter
Carry a hotel confirmation or a letter from your host in Pakistan. Immigration may ask where you are staying — having a printed booking avoids delays at the counter.Recommended
Proof of funds
Financial means
Have a bank statement or credit card showing you can cover your stay. Officers rarely ask, but if they do, showing $200–$300 USD equivalent in cash or a card statement works.Recommended
eVisa is mandatory — no visa on arrival
Colombian passport holders cannot get a visa on arrival in Pakistan. You must have an approved eVisa before you board your flight. Airlines check this before issuing a boarding pass.
Passport validity counts from entry date
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the day you land in Pakistan, not from your departure date. Double-check your passport's expiry before booking flights.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online
Go to visa.nadra.gov.pk and fill out the online application. You'll need to upload a scanned passport photo, a copy of your passport bio page, and your travel itinerary. Processing typically takes 5–10 working days.
2
Receive and print your eVisa
Once approved, you'll get an email with your eVisa. Print a copy and also save a digital version on your phone. Keep it with your passport.
3
Arrive at a Pakistani airport
Most international flights land at Jinnah International Airport (Karachi), Allama Iqbal International Airport (Lahore), or Islamabad International Airport. Go to the 'Foreigners' queue at immigration.
4
Present documents to immigration
Hand over your passport, printed eVisa, and return ticket. The officer may ask about your accommodation and purpose of visit. Answer clearly. You'll get an entry stamp valid for up to 30 days (or as per your eVisa).
