No visa on arrival — plan ahead
Czech citizens cannot get a Ghana visa at the airport. You must have a valid visa before you board your flight. Airlines will check this, and you'll be denied boarding without it.
Yellow fever certificate is mandatory
You must carry your yellow fever vaccination certificate with you. Immigration officials at Kotoka International Airport will ask to see it. If you don't have it, you may be refused entry or forced to get vaccinated on the spot.
Visa validity is strict
Ghana visas are not extendable. Overstaying your visa can result in fines, detention, or deportation. Make sure your visa covers your entire stay and leave before it expires.
