Cash only at visa on arrival desk

Yellow fever vaccine required

Hand over your passport, completed arrival form (usually given on the plane), and your return ticket. The officer will process your visa and collect the fee — have cash in US dollars or Ghanaian cedis ready.

Receive visa and enter
Once approved, the visa sticker is placed in your passport. You then proceed to passport control for stamping. Keep the visa sticker safe — you'll need it when you leave.
