Qatar entry requirements for Czech Republic passport holders
Czech passport holders can get a visa on arrival in Qatar, valid for up to 30 days. This has been the case since 2017 and remains in effect in 2025. Just land at Hamad International Airport (DOH) and follow the signs to the visa-on-arrival counter.
Entry requirements
| Requirement | Details | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Visa on arrival Visa on arrival at Hamad International Airport | Czech passport holders get a free 30-day visa on arrival at Doha's Hamad International Airport. No pre-application needed — just walk up to the visa counter after baggage claim. You can extend it once for another 30 days at the Ministry of Interior (fee around 200 QAR).Apply online | Required |
| Valid passport Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your arrival date | Qatar enforces the 6-month validity rule strictly — if your passport expires sooner, you will be denied boarding in Prague or Doha. Airlines check this before issuing a boarding pass. No exceptions. | Required |
| Return or onward ticket Required for visa-on-arrival entry | Immigration officers at Hamad International Airport ask for a confirmed onward or return ticket. A flight booking confirmation or e-ticket works. Without one, you risk being sent back on the next flight. | Required |
| Proof of accommodation Hotel booking or host invitation | Have a printed hotel reservation or a letter from your Qatari host ready. Immigration rarely asks, but if they do, you need to show where you are staying. A booking.com confirmation works fine. | Recommended |
