Go to evisa.kdmid.ru, fill in your personal and passport details, upload a passport-style photo, and pay the fee. Processing takes about 4 days.

Book your travel and accommodation
Book a return flight and your first night's accommodation. Save confirmation emails and screenshots on your phone.

Arrive at a Russian airport
At passport control, present your passport and the eVisa approval (printed or on your phone). The officer will scan your passport and stamp you in.

Register your stay
Within 7 days of arrival, your hotel or host must register your visa with the local migration office. If staying in a private apartment, you need to do this yourself at the nearest MVD office.
