Algerian passport holders need an eVisa to enter Kyrgyzstan. The application is entirely online, and you'll receive a decision before you travel. As of 2026, this is the only option for tourism or short business visits.

Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
eVisa application
Apply online before travel
Algerian passport holders need an eVisa to enter Kyrgyzstan. Apply at the official eVisa portal at least 3 working days before departure. The eVisa costs around $50 USD and is valid for a single entry up to 90 days.Apply for eVisaRequired
Valid passport
Must be valid for the duration of stay
Your passport must be valid for at least the entire period you plan to stay in Kyrgyzstan. Immigration officers at Manas International Airport check this carefully — no 6-month rule applies here.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of onward travel
Immigration may ask for a return or onward ticket at the border. Have a printed or digital copy of your flight itinerary ready — budget airlines flying into Bishkek sometimes check this before boarding.Recommended
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or invitation letter
Carry a hotel reservation confirmation or a letter of invitation from your host in Kyrgyzstan. Officers rarely ask, but having it ready avoids delays at the immigration counter.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show you can support your stay
Have bank statements or a credit card showing you have enough money for your trip. There is no fixed minimum amount, but around $50 USD per day is a safe benchmark if questioned.Recommended
eVisa is the only option
Algerian passport holders cannot get a visa on arrival. You must apply and receive approval before you travel.
Passport validity counts from entry
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the day you land in Kyrgyzstan, not from your departure date. Check your passport now.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for eVisa online
Go to evisa.e-gov.kg, fill in the application, upload a passport-style photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee (around $50 USD) with a credit card. Processing usually takes 3–5 business days.
2
Receive eVisa and print a copy
You'll get the eVisa by email as a PDF. Print a paper copy and also save it on your phone. You'll need to show it at check-in and at immigration in Bishkek.
3
Arrive at Manas International Airport (Bishkek)
After landing, follow signs to 'Passport Control'. Join the queue for foreign passports. Have your passport, printed eVisa, return ticket, and accommodation confirmation ready. The officer will stamp you in.
4
Collect luggage and exit
After immigration, proceed to baggage claim, then customs. There's usually no customs declaration for personal items. Exit into the arrivals hall.
