Arrive at Tocumen International Airport (PTY)
You'll land at Panama City's main airport. Follow signs to 'Migración' (Immigration). There are separate queues for Panamanian citizens and foreigners — join the foreigners line.

Present your documents to the immigration officer
Hand over your passport and return ticket. The officer may ask your purpose of visit, how long you're staying, and where you're staying. Answer briefly and honestly. They rarely ask for proof of funds, but have it in mind.

Get your passport stamped
The officer will stamp your passport with the entry date and the number of days granted (usually 90). Check the stamp before walking away. If it says fewer days than you planned, ask politely for clarification.

Collect luggage and exit customs
After immigration, grab your bags from the carousel. You'll pass through customs — if you have nothing to declare, use the green channel. Then you're free to leave.
