What happens at the border

1
Apply for your visa online
Go to smevisa.gov.ao and fill out the application. Upload a scanned copy of your passport bio page and a passport-sized photo. Pay the fee online. Processing usually takes 3–5 business days.
2
Print or save your visa approval
Once approved, you'll receive a PDF. Print a copy and also save it on your phone. Immigration at Luanda's Quatro de Fevereiro Airport will ask to see it.
3
Prepare your documents for arrival
Have your passport, visa approval, return ticket, and accommodation confirmation ready. Keep them in your hand luggage — you'll need them at passport control.
