What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the Hukoomi portal (hukoomi.gov.qa), select the eVisa service for tourism, fill in your passport details, upload a passport-style photo, and pay the fee (approx. QAR 100). Processing usually takes 1–3 business days. You'll receive the approved visa by email.
2
Prepare your documents
Print a copy of the eVisa approval email, or save it on your phone. Also have your passport, return ticket, accommodation booking, and travel insurance handy — either printed or as screenshots.
3

After landing, follow signs to 'Arrivals' then 'Passport Control'. Present your passport and eVisa (digital or printed). The officer may ask to see your return ticket and accommodation. Answer clearly and briefly. Once stamped, you're free to enter.
