Keep your entry card safe
The small paper Tarjeta de Turista you receive on arrival must be handed back when you leave. Losing it means extra paperwork and a small fine at the airport.

At La Aurora International Airport (GUA) or any land border, join the 'Extranjeros' (Foreigners) queue. Have your passport and boarding pass ready.

Present documents and answer questions
Hand over your passport. The officer may ask your purpose of visit, length of stay, and where you're staying. Answer briefly and honestly.

Get your entry stamp
The officer stamps your passport with the date of entry and the number of days granted (usually 90). Check the stamp before walking away.

Keep your stamped entry card
You'll receive a small paper entry card (Tarjeta de Turista). Keep it with your passport — you'll need to hand it back when you leave.
