Passport validity is critical

Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the official Indian eVisa website (indianvisaonline.gov.in). Fill in your personal and passport details, upload a recent photo and passport scan, and pay the fee. Processing takes 3-5 business days. You'll receive an approval email — print it or save the PDF.

Arrive at an Indian airport
eVisa holders can enter through 30 designated airports including Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Goa. At immigration, join the 'eVisa' queue. Hand over your passport and approval email. They'll take fingerprints and a photo. The process usually takes 10-15 minutes.
