Sufficient means of support
You may be asked to show evidence of sufficient funds to cover your stay in Oman. This is not always requested but be prepared to show cash, credit cards, or bank statements.Recommended

Visa-free entry confirmed
Spanish citizens enjoy visa-free access to Oman for up to 30 days. No eVisa, no fee, no paperwork — just a valid passport and a return ticket.
Passport validity is critical
Oman enforces the 6-month passport validity rule strictly. Even if you're only staying a week, a passport expiring sooner will get you sent back. Check your expiry date now.
No extension available
The 30-day visa-free period cannot be extended. If you need to stay longer, you must leave Oman and re-enter (subject to current rules) or apply for a different visa type before your trip.

What happens at the border

1
Arrive at Muscat International Airport
After landing, follow signs to 'Arrivals' and then 'Passport Control'. There are separate queues for GCC nationals and others — join the 'Foreigners' or 'All Passports' line.
2
Present your passport at the counter
Hand over your Spanish passport. The officer will check your validity, scan it, and may ask about your stay. Answer clearly — you're entering visa-free for up to 30 days.
3
Get your entry stamp
The officer stamps your passport with the entry date and the allowed stay period. Verify the stamp shows the correct date before stepping away.
4
Proceed to baggage claim and exit
After passport control, collect your luggage and walk through the green 'Nothing to Declare' channel if you have no restricted items. You're in!
