eVisa is mandatory — no visa on arrival for Spanish citizens
You must have an approved eVisa before you travel. There is no visa-on-arrival option for Spanish passport holders at Entebbe or any land border.
Yellow fever vaccine is strongly recommended
While not always checked for direct flights from Spain, Uganda requires proof of yellow fever vaccination if you've been in a risk country. Get the vaccine and carry your yellow card to avoid issues.
What happens at the border

Apply for the eVisa online
Go to visas.immigration.go.ug, create an account, fill in the application, upload your passport photo and passport scan, and pay the fee (around $50 USD for a single-entry tourist visa). Processing usually takes 2–5 business days.

Receive and save your eVisa
Once approved, you'll get a PDF by email. Print a copy and save it on your phone. You'll need it to check in for your flight and present at immigration in Entebbe or at any land border.

Arrive in Uganda
At Entebbe International Airport (or any land border like Busia or Malaba), go to the immigration desk. Hand over your passport, eVisa printout, and return ticket. They'll stamp you in — usually for up to 90 days.
