Visa on arrival is not extendable
If you think you might need to stay longer than 30 days, get a visa from a Bangladeshi embassy before you go. There's no way to extend the visa on arrival from inside the country.

Land at an international airport
Visa on arrival is available at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (DAC) in Dhaka, Shah Amanat International Airport (CGP) in Chittagong, and Osmani International Airport (ZYL) in Sylhet. After deplaning, follow signs for 'Visa on Arrival' — don't go straight to passport control.

Fill out the visa application form
At the visa on arrival counter, you'll get a small form. Fill in your personal details, passport info, and address in Bangladesh. Keep it simple — hotel name and city is fine.

Pay the visa fee
Hand over your passport, completed form, and payment. The officer will process it and give you a receipt. Pay in USD cash if possible — it's faster. Credit cards work but may take longer.

Receive your visa sticker
The officer will paste a visa sticker into your passport. Check the validity dates and your name spelling before walking away. Then proceed to passport control for entry stamping.
