What happens at the border

1
Arrive at Hewanorra International Airport (UVF) or George F.L. Charles Airport (SLU)
Most international flights land at Hewanorra in Vieux Fort. After disembarking, follow the signs to Immigration. There are usually two queues: one for Saint Lucian citizens and residents, another for visitors. Join the visitor queue.
2
Present your passport and answer questions
Hand your passport to the immigration officer. They may ask about the purpose of your visit, where you're staying, and how long you plan to stay. Answer clearly and concisely. Your passport will be stamped with the entry date.
3
Collect your luggage and proceed to Customs
After immigration, head to the baggage claim area. Once you have your bags, proceed through Customs. You may be asked to declare items. Then you're free to exit the airport.
