Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
eVisa application
Apply before travel
Apply for a Pakistan eVisa at visa.nadra.gov.pk at least 7–10 days before departure. The online form asks for a scanned passport photo, passport bio page, and a travel itinerary. Approval takes 3–5 working days for most nationalities.Apply for eVisaRequired
Valid passport
Must be valid on arrival
Your Greek passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your date of entry into Pakistan. Airlines check this at check-in — if your passport expires sooner, you will be denied boarding.Required
Return or onward ticket
Required for entry
Immigration at Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore airports always asks for a confirmed onward or return ticket. A printed copy or a screenshot on your phone works — just have it ready before you reach the counter.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or invitation letter
Border officers may ask where you are staying. A hotel confirmation email or a letter from a host in Pakistan (with their CNIC number) is usually enough. Keep a copy on your phone.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show you can support yourself
Officers rarely ask, but having a bank statement or credit card showing at least $500 USD equivalent removes any doubt. ATMs in Pakistan dispense PKR, but cash dollars are useful for taxis and tips.Recommended
Passport validity is critical
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your entry date. If it expires sooner, your eVisa will be rejected. Renew before applying.
No visa on arrival for Greek citizens
There is no visa on arrival for Greek passport holders. You must get the eVisa before you travel.
