What happens at the border

1
Apply for the e-visa online
Go to snedai.com, create an account, and fill in the application. Upload a clear scan of your passport bio page, a passport-style photo, and your flight itinerary. Pay the visa fee (around 50,000 XOF, roughly €75) by credit card. Processing takes 3–7 business days, sometimes longer.
2
Receive and print your e-visa
Once approved, you'll get an email with a PDF. Print two copies — one to keep with your passport, one as backup. Also save a digital copy on your phone.
3
Arrive at Félix-Houphouët-Boigny International Airport (Abidjan)
Most flights land at Abidjan. After deplaning, follow signs to 'Immigration' or 'Passport Control'. Join the queue for foreign passports. Have your passport, printed e-visa, return ticket, and hotel booking ready.
4
Present documents and receive entry stamp
Hand over your passport and e-visa. The officer will check your details, stamp your passport, and return it. This usually takes 2–5 minutes. Keep the e-visa copy with your passport for the duration of your stay.
