Most visitors fly into Chișinău International Airport (KIV). Follow signs to 'Passport Control' — there are separate queues for EU/EEA and non-EU travellers. Hong Kong passport holders use the non-EU line.

Present your passport and answer questions
Hand over your passport. The officer may ask about the purpose of your visit, length of stay, and where you're staying. Answer clearly and briefly. They may also ask to see your return ticket and accommodation confirmation.

If everything is in order, the officer will stamp your passport with your entry date and the maximum stay allowed (usually 90 days). Check the stamp before leaving the counter.

Collect luggage and exit
