What happens at the border

Arrive at Ecuadorian immigration
At Quito (UIO) or Guayaquil (GYE) airport, follow signs to 'Migración' or 'Extranjería'. Join the queue for foreign passports.

Present your documents
Hand over your passport and (if asked) your return ticket and accommodation confirmation. The officer will check your passport validity and stamp you in.

Receive entry stamp
You'll get a stamp with the date of entry and the number of days allowed (usually 90). Check it's correct before leaving the counter.

Collect luggage and exit
After immigration, proceed to baggage claim, then customs. You're free to enter Ecuador.
