Most ETA applications are approved within minutes, but it can take up to 3 working days. Check your email for the decision. If approved, the ETA is electronically linked to your passport.

Head to the airport
At check-in, the airline will verify your ETA status. You won't need to print anything – it's all digital. Just have your passport ready.

Arrive in the UK
After landing, follow the 'UK Border' signs. Use the ePassport gates if you have a biometric passport – they're usually faster. Otherwise, join the standard queue and present your passport to the border officer.
