Arrive at Ecuadorian immigration
At Quito (UIO) or Guayaquil (GYE) airport, follow signs to 'Migración' or 'Extranjería'. Join the queue for foreign passports (not the Ecuadorian line). Have your passport and return ticket ready.

Present documents and get stamped
Hand over your passport. The officer may ask your purpose of visit (tourism is fine), length of stay, and where you're staying. Answer clearly. They'll stamp your passport with the entry date and the allowed stay (usually 90 days).

Collect luggage and exit
After immigration, proceed to baggage claim, then customs. There's usually a green/red channel for declaring goods. If you have nothing to declare, go through the green channel.
