Passport validity is strict

Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the Nigeria Immigration Service portal (portal.immigration.gov.ng). Fill in your personal details, upload a passport-style photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the visa fee (typically around $160–$200 depending on nationality). Processing takes 3–10 business days — sometimes longer during peak periods.

Receive and print your approval letter
Once approved, you'll get an eVisa approval letter by email. Print a paper copy and also save a PDF on your phone. You'll need to show this at check-in and at immigration in Nigeria.

Arrive at a Nigerian airport
Most international flights land at Lagos (LOS) or Abuja (ABV). At immigration, present your passport, eVisa approval letter, and return ticket. The officer will stamp you in. Keep the eVisa letter with your passport for the duration of your stay.
