What happens at the border

1
Apply for your eVisa online
Go to evisa.gov.ua, fill out the application form, upload a passport-style photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee (around $20 USD) and submit. Processing usually takes 3–7 business days.
2
Prepare your documents
Print your approved eVisa, keep a copy on your phone, and gather your passport, return ticket, accommodation booking, and insurance. Have them all in one folder or digital album.
3
Arrive at a Ukrainian airport
At Boryspil (Kyiv) or Lviv airport, follow signs to 'Passport Control'. Join the queue for non-EU/non-Ukrainian passports. Have your passport and eVisa ready.
4
Present documents to the officer
Hand over your passport and eVisa. The officer may ask for your return ticket or accommodation. Answer clearly and briefly. They will stamp your passport with your entry date.
5
Collect luggage and exit
After passport control, proceed to baggage claim, then customs. If you have nothing to declare, use the green channel. You're now free to enter Ukraine.
