What happens at the border

1
Apply for your e-Visa online
Go to evisa.gov.ua and fill out the application. You'll need to upload a passport photo, a scan of your passport bio page, and your travel itinerary. Pay the fee online. Processing typically takes 7–10 business days, but can take longer.
2
Receive your visa approval
Once approved, you'll get an email with a PDF. Print a copy and save it on your phone. The visa is usually valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
3
Arrive at a Ukrainian airport
At Boryspil (Kyiv) or Lviv airport, go to the 'Foreign Passports' queue. Hand over your passport, visa printout, and return ticket. The officer may ask a few questions — keep answers simple and honest.
4
Get your passport stamped
The officer will stamp your passport with your entry date and the number of days you're allowed to stay. Check the stamp before leaving the counter — if the dates are wrong, ask for a correction immediately.
