What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the official Bahrain eVisa website (evisa.gov.bh). Fill in your personal and passport details, upload a passport-style photo, and pay the fee (around 40 BHD for a single-entry visa). Processing takes 3–5 business days. You'll receive the approval by email — print it or save it on your phone.
2
Prepare your documents
Before you fly, gather: your passport (valid 6+ months), the eVisa approval, a return or onward ticket, accommodation confirmation for your first night, and travel insurance if you have it. Keep digital copies on your phone and a printed backup.
3
Arrive at Bahrain International Airport (BAH)
When you land, head to immigration. Have your passport and eVisa approval ready. The officer will check your documents, stamp your passport, and let you through. The process is usually quick — 10–15 minutes.
4
Collect your luggage and exit
After immigration, go to baggage claim, then customs. If you have nothing to declare, walk through the green channel. You're free to enter Bahrain.
