Arrive at Chișinău International Airport
Most travellers fly into Chișinău (KIV). After landing, follow signs to 'Passport Control' for non-EU/non-Schengen. There are usually separate queues for Moldovan citizens and foreigners.

Present your passport at the border booth
Hand over your Icelandic passport. The officer will check your photo, validity, and may ask your purpose of visit and length of stay. Answer clearly and briefly.

Receive entry stamp
If everything is in order, the officer stamps your passport with the date of entry and the allowed stay period (up to 90 days). Check the stamp before walking away.

Collect luggage and exit
