Belize entry requirements for Italy passport holders
Italian passport holders can enter Belize for tourism or business stays up to 30 days without a visa. As of 2026, you just show up at the airport or land border and get entry on arrival. Your passport must be valid for at least six months from your entry date.
Entry requirements
| Requirement | Details | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Valid passport Must be valid for the duration of your stay | Your passport needs to be valid for the entire time you plan to be in Belize. Airlines check this at check-in, and Belize immigration officers enforce it at the border. No minimum validity beyond your stay is required. | Required |
| Return or onward ticket Proof of departure from Belize | Immigration officers routinely ask for a return or onward ticket at the Belize airport. Have a printed or digital copy of your flight booking ready. If you're flying out overland to Guatemala or Mexico, a bus ticket or ferry booking also counts. | Recommended |
| Proof of accommodation Hotel booking or invitation letter | You may be asked where you're staying during the immigration interview. A hotel confirmation email or a letter from a host with their address is enough. No need to print it — showing it on your phone works. | Recommended |
| Proof of funds Show you can support yourself | Immigration can ask for proof of sufficient funds for your stay. A bank statement or credit card with a reasonable limit (around $100 USD per day) usually satisfies them. They rarely check this for short tourist visits. | Recommended |
