Yellow fever vaccination is mandatory
Togo requires proof of yellow fever vaccination for all travellers. Show your yellow card at immigration. Without it, you may be denied entry or forced to get vaccinated at the airport, costing time and money.

Phone signal at Lomé Airport can be patchy. Save a PDF of your eVisa on your phone and carry a printed copy in your hand luggage.

Apply for the eVisa online
Go to evisa.gouv.tg. Fill in your personal details, passport info, travel dates, and accommodation. Upload a passport-style photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee (35,000 XOF, about €55) by credit card. You'll receive a confirmation email.

Wait for approval
Processing takes 3–5 business days. Check your spam folder. Once approved, you'll get a PDF. Print a copy and save it on your phone.

Arrive at Lomé–Tokoin Airport
After landing, head to immigration. Present your passport, printed eVisa, and return ticket. They'll stamp your passport. The process takes 10–15 minutes if you have everything ready.

Collect your luggage and exit
After immigration, pick up your bags from the carousel. Customs is usually a quick glance. Then you're free to leave the arrivals hall.
