Kosovo entry requirements for Italy passport holders
Italian passport holders can enter Kosovo without a visa for stays up to 90 days. This policy has been in place since 2010 and remains unchanged for 2026. No registration or pre-approval is needed — just show up with a valid passport.
Entry requirements
| Requirement | Details | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Valid passport Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your stay | Your passport needs at least 6 months of validity from your entry date into Kosovo. Airlines check this at check-in — if your passport expires sooner, you'll be denied boarding. | Required |
| Return or onward ticket Proof of departure from Kosovo | Immigration officers routinely ask for a return or onward ticket out of Kosovo. Have a printed or digital copy ready — they check this at the border. | Recommended |
| Proof of accommodation Hotel booking or host invitation | Have a hotel reservation or a letter from your host ready. Officers may ask where you're staying, especially if you arrive without a clear itinerary. | Recommended |
| Proof of funds Show you can support yourself during your stay | Carry at least €100–150 per day in cash or a credit card statement. Border officers rarely ask, but if you can't show funds, they can deny entry. | Recommended |
